Feeding Guidelines
Hi, I'm Kimberley, Mum and Founder of Livee Lulu. At Livee Lulu, we celebrate all feeding journeys - whether you're breastfeeding, formula feeding, pumping, or a bit of everything.
I'm a breastfeeding mum, but I struggle to produce enough extra milk for when my baby is home with her dad - so he makes her a formula bottle. This is just one of many feeding stories, and yours will be uniquely yours too.
As part of industry guidelines in New Zealand and Australia, we're required to share this message about infant feeding: Breastfeeding is best for babies. A healthy, balanced diet and regular nursing can support milk production. If you choose not to breastfeed, this decision may be hard to reverse and could impact your milk supply. It's also worth considering the emotional, financial, and practical aspects of formula feeding.
Infant formula should always be used and prepared exactly as directed. By entering the Liveelulu website, you’re confirming that the information on our website is intended to educate, support, and empower you - not to replace advice from your healthcare provider.
However you choose to feed your baby, you’re doing an amazing job. And we’re with you, every step of the way.
